Seriously, the bigger the doodle the better! I stick with my premise that the big boys are so convenient because you don't have to bend down to pet them! Lazy me!

Thanks for the welcome! He's twice the size we expected, but love him still. Porter's paws still look big, I'm thinking we have a 100+ doodle when he's grown!

Well, well, well, new members are coming up in the Heavyweights group!  Welcome to Chels, Monte, Porter, Axel, Maggie Sue, and Chester.  Am I forgetting anyone?  These big guys and gals are just such a delight.  We adore our big guy - Groucho Too - at 90 pounds.  He really doesn't seem big to us anymore, unless you try to pick him up!

Okay, I guess Monty belongs in this group. He is 2.5 years old and weights 83 lbs. He outgrew his dad by 20 lbs. We don't know how big little Auggie will get, but so far he's been keeping up with Monty's baby weight. Aren't big doodles the best?

My Porter was 23 pounds at "11" weeks. I do that because he's a pet store dog and I'm not convinced of his age. He is now 10 months and 70 plus. He still looks awkward, so still growing!

Thank you! Axel weighed 49 pounds at 19 weeks. I need to reweigh soon. He is a little under the weather in this photo taken yesterday. He still is wearing the cone, but you'd never know he has surgery. All he wants to do is play -- when he's not crashing into the walls and furniture. He's a klutz as it is!

Hi Jen ~ Axel and Finnley are a week apart ! Her birthday is May 1st. I love Axel's fur, it's just beautiful ! He definitely has one of those sweet expressive faces too.

When I can actually see Finnley's eyes, they are expressive too, but mostly they just sort of blend in, everything is black ! lol How much is Axel weighing in at ?

Finnley is super adorable! He is almost the same age as my pup. When is his birthday? Axel's is May 7.

Hello ~ I think that Finnley will definitely be able to be a member of the "Heavyweight's!" She will turn 5 months old on October 1st and is already 40 lbs.

I love that she is a big girl and when people see her for the firs time they can't believe she is still a baby. The next comment they make is "look at the size of those paws, she is going to be huge !' lol I hope so I love a big dog

Maggie Sue is 2 1/2 and weighs 75 lbs.  Our other doodle, is smaller, only 57 lbs, but when we rescued him at 1 year old, he only weighed 42 lbs.Both are wonderful.. Maggie loves to curl up in a ball in the chair.  our big dogs are great!
