Meet Daisy!! We just brought her home yesterday. We are so exited.

The first night was a little rough. She's not used to a crate so we had a lot of whinning last night. I think we'll put it next to our bed tonight and see how that goes.

I'm having some trouble with potty training. My Maggie (14 wks old today) is going potty in the house, but only when I'm home! During the day she is in a room with a doggie door going into the backyard. I don't think she's had any accidents in that room. She won't go outside on her own when I am home so if she decides she needs to go, she goes in the living room instead of going out the doggie door to go outside! What can I do to make her realize she needs to go OUTside everytime?

My Maggie gets so excited when anyone comes around or pays attention to her when we are out that she pees a little. I think they call this submissive peeing? Any ideas if this is something that she will outgrow? (I hope!) She is 14 weeks old.

Just wondering, is there really any way to know what color your pup will be when they get their adult coat. I think some are more obvious, but Lola is apricot on the ends and cream at the roots right now and she is about 14 weeks. Her nose is all cream. I know some people like the surprise, but I just love to know everything. LOL :)

Man - if I don't get Toby to stop jumping up soon, I'm going to lose my mind. Jumping on us, jumping on things, jumping at the counter, jumping at the fridge, stove etc. The nipping is fading out, but the jumping......We have a house lead on, and use the word "Off!" - about 12 hundred times a day. The jumping up just has to stop......

My vet told me Maggie has a lot of hair in her ear canal. I have never had a dog that required hair removal from the ears! She is 12 weeks old. Do all doodles have this issue?

Margot - Most behavior problems can be solved with exercise. So yes, I think it's just he is not getting enough exercise and is bored, thus making his own fun (bad behavior). Once he is able to exercise again I am sure this bad behavior will lessen or go back to normal.

Hi all...15 week old has gotten car sick since she came to me at 8 weeks after a 2 hour ride. I believe it's more stress/anxiety rather than true motion sickness. She hates being near the car and the drooling starts justs sitting in the car when it's not moving. She can go about 15 min without actually barfing, but the drool is severe. I've tried complete darkness in a crate, face forward in a raised seat so she can see out, plenty of air flow, ginger snaps...all to no avail. I don't want to have to sedate her w/dramamine or any meds if possible. Have any of you had to deal with this issue? Any insight would be most appreciated.

Post-Neutering Behavior... is this normal? Jennings, my 8 month old, was neutered 4 days ago. He is not his normal mostly-well-behaved self, and I am wondering if this is to be expected as he has had no exercise, and only "outside" to go to the bathroom. He is staring at me and barking (he is not a barker), stealing shoes and refusing to "stay". Please help!!! :)
