Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
We have five of our Crowe Maltese plus our Goldendoodle, Holly = 6-dogs
We are presently fostering six Maltese plus our Labradoodle rescue, Cocoa = 7-dogs
We offer dog sitting services to persons who give our fosters a furever home. We don't want our fosters ever put back in a kennel, even a nice kennel. We also love to see the dogs come back to us looking lovely from the TLC they receive in their furever homes.
Three families have taken us up on this over the Labor Day…

We had Cocoa groomed today and we think that Maureen, of Ye Olde Poodle Parlor in San Marcos, CA, did a great job; especially considering the terrible coat condition in which Cocoa arrived. Cocoa was necessarily clipped short, including her ears because she was so full of mats and tangles.
Maureen told us that Cocoa was one of the nicest and most cooperative…

Holly at five and a half years old has just started counter surfing... We have been quite lax in leaving goodies unattended on our kitchen counter because Holly has been so reliable in not grabbing anything off the counter.
Well, those days are gone. Holly has found how good the counter items might taste and we now have to be careful about what we leave out!

We are getting a doodle to foster from Doodle Rescue Collective, Inc. She is a year older than Holly and has come from a home with smaller dogs and a larger dog. Although Holly adores the Maltese, I am sure that Holly will be happy to have a girl her own size to play with.

My son-in-law went fishing this week and he ran into a school of bluefin tuna. Our daughter shot this with her cell phone - that's the reason for the poor quality image.
The biggest fish was a bit over 40 pounds and the smallest were still pretty big. He gave us several freezer bags of fillets and one big bag of scraps for the Crowe dogs.
We and the dogs are…

We got a call from a volunteer networker at 2:30 today that there was a one-year old Maltese female in the San Bernardino City Shelter who was going to be put down if she was not pulled from the shelter a 5:00 pm.
Judy called the shelter and found that there is no way they would delay the euthanasia even if we guaranteed that we would pick this girl up. It was 3:00 PM when I got on the road for the 75 mile (approximately) trip to the…
