Our Holly has fallen in love with Toby a rescue who is a poodle crossed with some unknown breed (possibly Maltese).  He and Holly play together for hours and then spend quiet time together.  Toby is a puppy (we guess about 10-months old) who weighs about 15 pounds.

Well, Luna continues to be prove herself to be one of the sweetest doodles I've ever fostered. She certainly still has her issues...and lots of them...but I definitely see small pockets of progress.

Thanks for asking. Megan had surgery on the 10th of January - she had a complete tear and is still recovering.  It is hard to know how well she is doing.  Sometimes she puts the foot down totally but limps - keeping her quiet is a chore.  Thankfully she has readjusted to her crate really well but there have bee OOPs moments when we turn our backs and she does something dumb.  She knows something is  wrong and is doing her doggy best.  

HHe is adorable! Not that I was in favor of a second great dane for them! BUT What a cute little guy. He is really snuggly not timid at all, listens really well. He also cuddled up with Gramma on the couch and he laid his head on mine and his paw in my palm and breathed the beautiful puppy breath all over me! He was so soft and smooth and warm. Earlier this week, I was thrilled to log on and see that I had finally done it.... I reached my Hopeless Doodle Addict status! While this badge is now displayed on my DK page, I've know I was an Hopeless Doodle Addict long ago.  I've become such a doodle lover and am constantly talking about my Shelby!  My friends (non DK members) think I am goofy, but they did offer me congratulations on this new milestone in my doodle loving life.   I am honored to be in the company of other amazing HDAs…

Since getting Bailey back in July, I have been working really hard to find her "doodle friends".  I started a FB page for Goldendoodles and Labradoodles of NE FL, put messages on store FB boards and have even tried to contact other DK'ers from Jacksonville and Orange Park.  The only one that I have heard back from was Suzanne and her beautiful girl Lily. 

We met up at a local dog park in town and the girls had a great time playing.  Can't wait to meet with them again and…

We are still in Vero Beach and I decided it would be good for Lilly to be around other dogs. It is hard in a community of 120 and 70 miles from Omaha and her friend Rua to find doggie friends. Lilly started this Monday for 1/2 days. On the first day, her tail was between her legs so far, I was surprised that she could walk. She stayed close to the attendant. The doggie daycare that I took her to has the dogs divided by puppies and small dogs, med dogs and large dogs so she was was puppies…

I've always loved taking pictures, and then trying to improve them and share them with friends and family.  I also have always loved my pets.  Currently, Zach is our canine family member, and Peeps is our long time feline kid.  And so, after my two human kids grew up and moved away, I began combining my love for pictures and animals.

I am so excited.  Several months ago I found out that Bailey had a sister here in town.  We even used the same vet for when the girls were spayed ..and on the same day no doubt.. Anywho...  I finally contacted her today and she is as excited as I am...we both just giggled with excitement to talk to each other.

We have a play date set for next week and we both were wondering...
