The "Irish Brothers" Are Bonding

Murphy and Guinness are sound asleep at my feet. They are exhausted. They played like crazy starting a little after 6:00 this morning, and then we took them for a nice long walk in the park. They were "begging for mercy" by the time we got home. Murph ate his lunch and then it was "nap time". I am amazed by Murphy. He did fantastic on his leash this morning....no pulling at all. Trevor's 2nd Birthday Celebration

The Murphy Train Is Home....Guinness is Sleeping With One Eye Open!

Oh, what an amazing, incredible day. We're home. The trip was perfect. Guinness didn't throw up or drool. We didn't get lost....thank heaven for GPS. I Have A New Gardener!

My new gardener's name is Finn. I did not get my garden cleaned up in the fall so all my dead plants are still sitting there. We won't go into why they didn't get done. STUBBORN LABARADOODLE

We love our labradoodle, Quincy, but he can be so stubborn. After being outside for a very long period of time he will not listen to our commands at all. We have an invisible fence around our front yard (a very large area) and it is virtually impossible to get him inside again. We spend hours trying to lure him back inside. Guinness...It's not a sister - it's a brother!!!

I'm totally in shock right now.....but sooo happy. Guinness will be getting a new "baby brother" tomorrow. We're heading to Lynne's tomorrow morning to adopt our new "Irish bundle". "Free" to good home

Marley has been with us for a little over a week now and we are all getting used to being a "double-doodle" family! We love him dearly and he is getting used to our backwards routines. Lizzie has shown him all of the best hiding spots in the backyard and he's getting used to sharing space with felines. He has even held his bladder for our overnight shifts since day 1!

A Lily Update!

Wow, I just realized how long it's been since I've logged on to DK! I thought I would post a Lily update for any of you who remember the surgery she had over the summer on her broken leg.

The orthopedic surgeon was absolutely awesome and after a healing time of 8 weeks, you would never know she had wires and plates in her leg. Her leg looked a little funny shaved for a while, but it has totally grown in now and nothing holds her back at all! Lily loves running, fetching,…

Darwin Has Entered the Teenage Phase.

I knew it would happen, and I thought I had prepared. But it's more frustrating than I expected. He seriously, was an angel up to a month or two ago. Urghhhhh!

The ever knowing (ie. know it all but I did not say that) DH came home yesterday and took Allie outside to do her business (yes this is a feat in itself.
