I have a free blackberry curve. Only 1 year old. Only a quarter eaten. Screen plastic cover broken, but doesn't affect the picture quality. Kinda unsightly on one side, with the chew marks and all. Op's the number 7 just fell out of the keypad, but sure it wouldn't take much to fix.
I fell asleep with Sir Riley on my chest. I don't know if he took it out of my pocket, or it fell to the floor. My wife came into the room and took it from him, it is pretty much trashed. It still works,…

I was doing stuff outside. Realized after awhile that I hadn't seen Riley for a while. I looked thru the house and no Riley!. I panicked big time, I checked his outside kennel ( he has access from his room). No Riley, he wasn't anywhere!. I thought he somehow got outside when I was going outside to fix my truck cover. Found him in the bathroom, with the door closed after I had been in there. He doesn't bark, so don't know how long he would of stayed in there before voicing his confinement. My…

My sister in law came over today, and worked on Riley. He got his pads, face, and ears done. Told her she better stay around for as long as Riley does as I could not afford all the maintenance I am getting for a little bar-b-que and smoked meat/chicken otherwise. Everyone with a doodle needs a groomer in the family.! I am so blessed.

Sir Riley, (as he is the king of the roost) weighed in at 21.9 @ 6 months. Got his rabies shot this morning, missed the first 15 minutes of the Texas/OU game. Texas won all that matters. Checked with breeder, she said he should have his height now (15inches), but will fill out more thru the chest and rear. So hopefully he will be in the neighborhood of 25 pounds grown. My wife wanted him to stop growing some time ago.
It is getting into our wet and cold season here in Portland. My…

I thought there was only one place in my whole yard that Riley could get dirty. That is my half wine barrel with a bamboo plant in it. Well, I now know now there is a second place. The grand kids have a sandbox with a cover over it. The kids piled rocks on it, and with the recent rain made a rock pool (dirty). Three days after his bath Riley got on top of the cover and proceeded to dig. He was dirty from head to toe. I got home from work, and the first thing my wife said to me was " You are not…

Well fall is here, and has been very cool here in Portland the last couple of days. I plan on bathing Riley tomorrow as it is supposed to be nice. I have to post this, as I need the prompts to go ahead with the project. Want to get a picture of him all soaked, as he really looks like a wet chihuahua. My wife went to Costco today and brought back a pack of soft dog animals for Riley, he has been working on them non stop since he was given them. Costco employee said that they were flying off the…

Well most won't think this to exciting, but got up early this morning to let Riley out. It was raining hard, and he was kinda scared as it hasn't rained that much since he has been with us. I had to hold him as he took in the environment and conditions in under our gazebo. It was like a baby trying to figure out what the heck is going on. Didn't take him long to figure out that if he stayed under the eaves of the garage, he was sheltered and a good place to do his thing. I mean I was out with…

Took a tumble off ladder at eave level, on my back and head. My wife, came running out of the house after hearing the noise. I was in pretty bad shape. But, after she saw I was sorta OK made the comment "You could of smashed the Dog, lucky he was in the house!". I will be fine, as long as a don't run out of pain pills.

Have to start off with, Riley was a hit at our first session. The trainer said he gets the prize for the cutest dog in attendance. Most of the participants came up to me and asked all sorts of questions: what kind of dog is he?, how old is he, and he is the cutest thing. I took it all in stride, because I all ready knew this.
I can't believe after my sister in law came over today with her golden to play, and playing hours with the grand kids this afternoon until I came home from work…

Just realized the Doodle is a high maintenance dog. I can hardly keep up with his eye boogers in the morning. I think I have his eyes clean, and then I realize I just moved them down to his whiskers. I am glad I have my sister in law, the ex groomer to help me with nails, ears and the like. I am thinking I should offer to pay her, for all the work. I may have to rethink that. It has been so hot here the last few days, Riley does his thing and wants right back into the air conditioned house. As…

Now that Riley, seems to be potty trained we let him out longer of periods of time. Take him to the store in the car, good traveler. I put him in his room earlier last night. Not a peep out of him, normally hits his door or scratches and barks to let you know he wants out. My wife gets up a 5 am, an hour before I do, asked her if she heard Riley stirring? Nope, you better check on him. Will I did and woke him up from a deep sleep. He just was so wore out from his travels and being left out all…
