I woke up very early this morning to some loud thudding noises. I got up to see what was going on and immediately recognized that Pierson was having another seizure. With a great deal of emotion, I delivered Sweetie to her guardian home on Saturday--the new owners are lovely, have a great house and yard and lots of time and love for her, BUT it was still hard to say good bye to this very special girl. She just has a way of reading you and what you want that is remarkable--she will hopefully be a therapy dog someday because she would be awesome--hoping she has puppies here in a few years--

When I was a kid, and I got to stay home from school because I was sick, it wasn't such a bad thing.  My mom would dote on me all day long from my vantage point on the sofa plopped in front of the TV.  If it was a Wednesday, my dad would be home too, so the house always had an energy about it.

Found this park tucked away behind the playground where my son used to play as a toddler (he's 25 now).  Didn't even know it existed!  It was a beautiful day to go exploring with the doodle and the DH!  I couldn't get over what we found at the end...a beautiful bridge that lead to the Ortega River...
