Are there any breeders out there that are breeding LARGE Doodles??
Welcome to the new member of this group. I couldn't find the new member on the member list but I LOVE big dogs. Right now we have a 75-lb and a 90-lb doodle sharing our home. Bigger is better!
My little ones are 65 pounds. They are the size of labs,My big doodle is on a diet and is now 75 pounds. Dr. said keep him thin for the sake of his hips. No problems yetand they all will be three this winter.Shea stands over me when his paws are on the fence. I don't let him stand with his paws on me!!
Looks like Zack at that age. Zack was 20.4 pounds at 14 weeks and now tops the scales at 88.
It's so funny how different the doodles are. I've given up trying to guess what he's going to look like because really, does it matter? He's so stinkin' cute I could just suck his face off.
Oh Marnie, I'm so pleased to see that we are not the only ones who say we love having big dogs because we don't have to bend down to pet them. We have be the epitome of laziness! haha Welcome to Heavyweights! I swear we could see Kona growing overnight when he was a pup!
I'd say Stanlee may very well hit 85 or 90 lbs, lol. Welcome to the Heavyweights group!
I'm guessing this will be the right place for us - Stanlee is 17 weeks and weighs in at 40 pounds. I'm guessing he may top off at around 80 pounds which is great as our older dog, Cooper, weighs in at 99 pounds. (Not a doodle, though) I have a mantra when it comes to my dogs, I do not like to bend down to pet them.
Aja just went to the vet and sheweighed in at 65lbs. She s my smallest in size. She was a rescue and when she came to us you could she ribs. She just likes to eat. Shea is our big guy. Taller than me when on his back legs. Hes in at about 75 lbs.He is really tall also.
I love all the stories about the big doggies! Bigger the better, I say, especially when they have the long, long legs.
