Puppymills are a huge problem in the United States. If you are unclear of what a puppymill is take a look at the pictures below. They are sickening & REAL. This type of life for millions of poor unfortunate dogs are a reality everyday. For many dogs they are confined in conditions like this for their entire life until they are no longer able to breed (to make their capturers money) then they are killed. The dogs you see in these pictures are VERY lucky as they are being photographed because…

So, Buddy and Mom had their first Rally competion this last Friday. It was only a fun match so didn't count towards a title or anything, but they score you and give ribbons as if it were. I am so happy to announce that they took first place in Novice class with a score of 96 out of 100! Whoopeeee!!
I am proud of them both even though I didn't get to go, or compete :( Mommy has registration in for me, so we will hopefully be able to compete soon. Their first real competion will be in…

Why own an Australian Labradoodle? There's a danger you know,
You can't own just one, for the craving will grow.
There's no doubt they're addictive, wherein lies the danger.
While living with lots, you'll grow poorer and stranger.
One Australian Labradoodle is no trouble, and two are so funny.
The third one is easy, the fourth one's a honey.
The fifth one delightful, the sixth one's a breeze,
You find you can live with a houseful with ease.
So…

Buster the Beagle came to stay with us for a couple of days. Boy, he’s annoying!!! And not a real dog either, if you ask me. He refused to swim and play balls like the rest of us. Mom took us all to the beach, and he just stood there and whined the entire time. I tried chasing him into the water and managed to get his feet wet, but he just stuck his tail between his legs and ran away. And here’s the worst: every morning around sunrise (which is
very early – I prefer not to get out of bed…

Why does it pour down raining 2 minutes after I escort 14 puppies outside to eat, play and potty? How wet can one person get standing in the rain waiting for 14 puppies to do their business? REALLY WET. It took 20 minutes to get them outside, it took 39 minutes to do their business, it took another 20 some minutes to get them back inside. I dried my floor and looked outside and it had stopped raining! I was still soaked!

Okay, so I was up late last night reading in bad, while Lola was sleeping in her bed in the bathroom. She was so peaceful. The next time I looked up from my book I noticed that her bed had a darker color surrounding her. I went to go check on her and she peed in her sleep! That is right, she was sleeping and didn't even notice until I woke her up. I thought it was pretty funny so decided to share it. Has that happened to anyone else? Is this normal?

seeks family companionship, ethnicity unimportant. I'm a very good puppy who LOVES to play I love long walks in the woods, riding in your pickup truck, camping and fishing trips, playing fetch, licking toes, cozy winter nights lying by the fire. Candlelight dinners will have me eating out of your hand. I'll be at the front door when you get home from work, wearing only what nature gave me.Call (317) 770-7418 and ask for the dark hunk of chocolate.

Dyson seems to have pulled a muscle in his front leg. He has a bit of a limp going on so I have decided that he will stay home and rest. He seems to be doing very well in the training but he just gets so excited when he sees people. I have to constantly remind him to behave. I feel like a nag. He doesn't do as well as with my wife so he obviously sees me as the dominant. I have made a contact for seeing if I can get him into a Therapy Dog program so I am pretty excited about that. He needs more…

Lilo: We love poop…
Rocky: Well, maybe you do, I just tolerate it !
Lilo: Ha ! I know you like poop just as much as I do.
Rocky: No I don’t !
Lilo: Yes you do !
Rocky: OK, I do like to pee on it, but it’s ONLY to remove its smell…
Lilo: Yea, like THAT’s gonna make it smell better !!
Rocky: But it does !!!
Lilo: No it doesn’t !
Rocky: Yes it does ! My pee is very potent, but in a good way.
Lilo: I like horse poop the best. It tastes SO GOOD,…

The best thing about this week is a sense of normalcy and routine. Lucy is beginning to know what is expected and when.
New tricks- Lucy is now tall enough on her hind legs to reach the trash in the kitchen. Stuff she digs out adds such a nice patina to my pumpkin pine floors. She does sit, shake ,down, and a stab at stay.
New passion - leaves blowing across the tar driveway. Unfortunately, if this happens during her circle dance, we have to start all over again.
New…

Reilly is our mini labradoodle, and we are apart of the Log Cabin family. Thank you everyone for a warm wishes and welcome. :) But right now, were having a slight worry because Reilly isn't eating like she has been the past few days; today and has been sleeping most of the day away... Were just worried something may be wrong or another.. as in she may be getting a cold. Anyway we can tell something is wrong or were over-reacting..? Please let us know.
Warm blessings to all.

Hello, Rocky here... My smartiepants sister is trying to beat her own 23 minute world record for eating an entire 36 inch bully stick (YUK! I find those things DIS-GUS-TING! They smell like dead old cows and taste even worse), so I thought I’d chip in on a very important subject, since she won’t be interrupting me with her bad breath. I’d like to talk about smelly kids. Don’t get me wrong, I generally like kids from a distance, but their parents!! No manners at all. They let their little ones…

My husband and I met our first goldendoodle almost 7 years ago while we were at a local park in Florida. We fell in love immediately and have been impatiently counting down the days until we could add one to our own family. After recently moving to Maryland, we decided to check out some local breeders in the area. Amazingly (seriously, it was totally a sign!), while I was walking our 7 year old chihuahua (Chloe) the other day, I ran into a goldendoodle and her owner. I was ecstatic when I saw…
