Becky's daughter here! I have a hilarious story to tell. My mom told me what Tucker has done in the snow. He ran around until he got dizzy. He buried his face in the snow. He got snow all over his nose! Tucker, the white nosed doodle! Had a very chilly nose! And if you ever saw it, you would even say it froze. I can picture it now, Tucker will be the name on everybody's lips! He will be famous for his frozen nose. Silly puppy! Tucker loves snow, and not just to play in! Tucker loves to eat snow… Continue
Even though I live just 8 miles south of the Lake Erie Snow Belt in NE Ohio, when they start talking FEET of SNOW and not INCHES of Snow I get nervous. My husband is in Eastern PA but he has checked in.
Thinking of all you East Coast Doodles. Check in here and let us all know how you are doing today. Last night I heard there was no power in many areas and 1 car with a doodle transport was stranded ( but okay now ).
So here is your sign in sheet. Hope you are… Continue
Just wondering if anyone else has this with their doodle. On Saturday's and Sundays my DH and I have our coffee and read the newspaper, Wilson is fine for a few minutes but then comes over to get his ear scratch, (which he gets when he first wakes up too) then as he see 's us reading he grabs a pillow, then he goes and grabs the towel to wipe his paws off with, I then play with him for a few more minutes go back to reading the paper, he does the same thing again This time he goes into my DH's… Continue
This article appeared in my paper today. I can't recommend it never having used it but it sounds like a simple alternative to some collars and harnesses.

MCCLATCHY NEWSPAPERS
Emily Weiss invented the Weiss Walkie, but she did not name it. "It's a horrible name, but it's now stuck," said Weiss, a certified animal behaviorist from Benton, Kan., who designed a no-pull… Continue
We are stranded in Virginia. We left Canada for Florida at 5am on Friday and here we are in Winchester Virginia for another night. Our plan was to be in Florida early Sunday morning but we hope to be leaving here at that time. Some of you may already know that there was a major snowstorm (at least for here) and the highways were closed in some spots. Accidents and cars and tractor trailers in ditches all along I85.
We are going stir crazy, the kids are bored and anxious to get to… Continue
Our family would like to wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and Wonderful New Year.
It is hard to believe that another year is almost over. They seem to go by faster and faster, I guess it's because I am not twenty something and getting older and older :) It seems only yesterday Buddy was an only dog and a bratty puppy at that, but we celebrated his 4th birthday and my little Kona's second birthday already this… Continue

Yes, I am buying her a non doodle puppy. For certain reasons she has to have a very small dog. So, here she is, a mini dashound. Right now her name is Trish and for other reasons we need to change that. I like Bella, but am up for your suggestions. I know there are very creative minds out there in DK world. Of course my grandaughter will have the final say or probably will pick her own name, but thought I would see what you all thought ;-)
She is just a doll baby, 7 1/2 weeks old and… Continue
We've been talking this week about indestructible toys, and I was thinking that with Guinness nothing is indestructible (except the heavy duty Kong). I thought I'd share the toys he's managed to destroy in the past two weeks. It usually only takes a couple of hours before I have to take the toy away...he gets so mad when he sees me throw in in the garbage when there's still stuffing left to be eaten. Here's the picture of the latest round of ruined toys...… Continue
Today is both a happy and sad day. Today we learned the tumor removed from the top of Baxter’s head was benign. Today F. Jax started his journey to his forever home. Today DH and I are so happy about the news on Baxter's tumor as well as Jax now has a forever family of his own where he does not have to share the attention with 3 other dogs. Today we have an empty spot beside the bed and in our hearts.
Well, today is the day. Samson went in at 8:30 am and I will be picking him up at 4:30 pm.
I forgot to tell a story about what he did the other day. After Samson was groomed, Janice (my groomer) gave him a Christmas present of a rope with a tennis ball attached to it. The rope went inside the tennis ball and the rope was like a circle shape, there was a plastic handle on the other end, so you could play tug with it. Very nice and Samson loved it. I decided to give it to him the next… Continue

It is Becky's Daughter, your new official "blogger"! I have a vision of the future. Spoooooooky! I have put my Christmas Tree up last night. In about 20 minutes, Tucker, the ravenous doodle, will eat up all of my favorite ornaments on the tree! He will eat all the ones on the bottom first, and then he will jump up and get all of the ones on the top! Last year we lost numerous ornaments. Tucker is a hilarious doodle that consumes everything! I made up a song about what he will eat. I know he… Continue
Today is Charlie's Birthday!! I can't believe that she is a year old already.... I still remember the day we picked her up from the breeder's house clear as yesterday.....
Ok...it started out as cute naughtiness, but Callie escalated into major destruction today...she broke, pulled down, and shredded the blinds in my den. Our schedule hasn't really changed, so if it is boredom, it's sudden onset boredom. I really don't know how to prevent this (first step of course will be confinement again when I'm gone). Any words of wisdom would be welcome!!!!!!!!!! .
It's me, Becky's daughter. I love to post blogs about Tucker. Here is one very funny story. Well, lets say that Fall is many PEOPLES favorite season. But, dogs can have favorites, too. Right? Tucker is one of those dogs. He loves Fall. I can tell because...I don't want to spoil the surprise! It was a beautiful Fall day and I was outside in the backyard where there were numerous leaves spread over the ground. Tucker was rambunctiously sprinting across the yard with his ball. I was extremely… Continue
It seems like just yesterday my Brody Bones was just a sad little puppy that was shaved due to a neglected coat, and now he's a furry horse! He's enormous, much bigger than I expected... like Chewbacca from Star Wars... only white.
Now, I've read all the articles that say poodles are one of the smartest dog breeds. Ostensibly, their intelligence is on par with a 3 year old's (I remain a little skeptical on that...I don't know any three year old humans who try to eat their own barf). Last night though, Callie displayed an intelligence that I found a little disconcerting. I was in the guest room/office working (love working for 4 hours after work...it's just been a super week like that) and Callie was laying on the bed,… Continue
