Profile Information
- What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
- Winnie is a red F1 Goldendoodle born on 2/11/14. Purchased from a breeder, she was a real challenge the first several months! Super energetic and part shark, the nipping/biting were seriously enough to nearly drive us insane. She matured into a loving, super smart and easy to care for dog. She loves EVERYONE and is still quite "jumpy" but we are working on that!
Knowing that we didn't have the patience to raise another puppy, we searched several rescue/adoption/private ads for months before we found Bob. He is a Goldendoodle born on 10/10/13 and came to live with us on 5/13/16. His previous owners didn't have the time or finances to care for him, so we were happy to give him a new home. He has been an absolute gem of an addition to our family!
The third (and maybe last?) dog to join our family is a beautiful black Standard Poodle named Indie. Born on 3/27/16, he came to live with us as a "rehome" on 6/10/17. Indie was living with 2 older Chihuahuas, and needed a home with big dogs that he could play with. It was an agonizing decision for his family, as he is such a fantastic dog. Indie fits in perfectly with our playful doodles! A gentle soul, we all love him dearly!

- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- We were looking for a larger dog that is smart, easy to train, and low shedding.
- What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
- Going for walks, playing ball and "find it" games, training, snuggling, etc. They all love to travel, and we try to take them with us whenever possible.
- Does your doodle(s) shed?
- A little bit but nothing major
- Who grooms your doodle(s)?
- I do- it's so much fun!

BTW, if you like "find it" games, you may love pancake hunts. We have them every Saturday morning and my husband and dogs are crazy about it. Charlie goes outside with a hand full of pancake pieces and has Zeppo, or Harpo, or whoever, sit while he hides the pancakes all over the deck. Then they go find them. They all have their own traits and skills at pancake hunting. Also, photos on my page.

I have been working with a breeder in Washington for a couple of years planning this pup. She is a great breeder and bred my phantom goldendoodle, Groucho. Groucho died a few years ago (cancer) and I would like to have a replacement for him. She has breeding stock which she has been training in herding. She has two OES (females) and a phantom poodle (male). Her organization is named DesignerDoodles in Deer Park, WA and her name is Sharon Merriman. Here is a photo of a sheepadoodle that I met on the beach in Carmel. I immediately knew what he was. You can take a look at my photos to see Groucho.

Hey Lori! I saw your post about Winnie tooting at times and I noticed that Tara will do this with certain types of dog food. Perhaps her brand or flavor of food isn't easy for her to digest? Just a thought.. BTW, Winnie is absolutely gorgeous!

Winnie is adorable- She looks very cuddly. Trixies hair is getting harder & harder to keep mat free...But I am stubborn I guess & still have not trimmed it
