Look at this picture of this huge dog I saw at Mardi Paws!

My niece's coworker brought a photo in after the Mardi Paws of this "huge, amazing dog" that she saw in the parade. My niece looked at the photo, "Oh thats Murphy, my Aunt Linda's dog".
Like I said, we don't have many Doodles down here. But he is huge and amazing.

Anticipation...

Well, today we get to go meet up with some of Fozzy Bears brothers and sisters! We ar excited to see how the puppies react to eachother! Fozzy has 7 brothers and 3 sisters. I know that one of his brothers went to Iowa. But maybe if we plan a summer romp, we will get everyone to show up. I think today, if everything works out, there will be eight of us! A little wine does not hurt...

My dear friend of 31 years spent the night and took me up to Mayo today. It was great therapy. Good friends know what you need.

Jess had a fever again in the morning but I am seeing the cycle -- it seems to go up after being in the OR and the poking around. He is cultured every day with results returning three days later, so far, no infection.

Ambient air and Tylenol took the fever down, but he is a little elevated tonight yet not enough to begin to treat. Latest report as of… Continue

ok now that i got a nice big bill from the vet for marley we are looking in to pet ins does any one have it on there pets we are looking in to ASPCA this seams to be the only one that have goldendoodles listed every one ells only has AKA listed ASPCA seams to be a good one at good price thanks Marleys Mommy

Mixing dry and wet dog food

I have recently heard it is good to mix dry and wet dog food. Healthier for the dogs. Does anyone do this?. I know I have seen Ceasar MIlan feed both. My dogs eat dry dog food only.

Puppy Love from Lizzie

First, I have graduated to a "socialite!" WOO!

Second, I think I finally found a food that Lizzie likes, eats, and poops! It is Blue Buffalo chicken and rice. I'm still supplementing with canned food from the vet, but she has been eating the blue buffalo for a couple of days and doing well. She also stopped eating her own poop! The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly, and I mean Ugly

The good: Jesse does not have a temperature today. The bad: his heart did not work by itself. The machine is a BiVad Missi, I did not hear that term before but I get it now. He will stay on it. They will try to wean him off again next week, but the doctor really believes now that there is too much damage. So I won't get any hopes up and think positively for a successful transplant and getting him ready for that. The doc said getting a heart can take many months. There are bridge… Continue

Ozzy is fine Surgery and 1st Hair cut

OZZY'S FIRST HAIR CUT TURNED OUT FINE....WHY DID I WORRY THAT THEY MAY MAKE HIM LOOK FUNNY, I DON'T THINK OZZY WOULD HAVE CARED ONE BIT ABOUT HE LOOKED.

Riley's First Puppy Grooming

I was so scared to take Riley to get him groomed,but I had to. The poor baby had no eyes. At least none that I had seen in weeks. So I got up my nerve to call some groomers today, and I was lucky enough to find one that said that she did LOTS of doodles and would not make him look like a poodle. So off he went.

Friday the 13th

Today it's really Friday the 13th for me. I came back from work and went with Benny to my friend who owns the Bordeauxdog Zoey who is Benny's biggest buddy. Victorville Rally Competition with Buddy

California was fun last weekend :) Nancy and her family came out on Sunday to watch all the dogs and stayed long enough to see Buddy and I compete. Wish you would have been there Saturday, we did so much better :o

Licking Hind End update

Sam ended up on antibiotics and after 2 days I think the licking has stopped. I think he is my high maintanance puppy, but I luv him.

Back in surgery tonight

Today was awful. I can barely bring myself to type this. Jess could not be closed today and his heart is not showing enough improvement to give life. The doctor painted a very grim picture with his chance for infection and the high risk he is at. He repeated that it is "up to you." -- What a frightening statement. He also suggested that he may not "be there" but the nurse and I disagree, as he has responded when the sedation is slightly lifted. The second doctor concurred. He could be a… Continue

Just a dog

From time to time people tell me, “Lighten up, it’s just a dog”, or “That’s a lot of money for just a dog”.

Ozzy is having surgery tomorrow and I am worried

Ozzy is having both dew claws removed tomorrow and I can't help but worry about him....first the cone that they will put on his head will knock everything over at home...I keep thinking Zoey will try and help him get to the bandages. Hi every one

this is Marley I wanted to thank every Dog/puppy and there pets that have put me in there prayers I am home now and doing much better I have to take 2 pills 2 times a day and they tast yuky but mom said i have to take them and i have to eat yuky food for the next 2 weeks

Bully Stick Obsession

On Saturday night my husband and I went out for a nice dinner and decided to watch a movie once home. We decided to give Whopper her first bully stick ever.
