Saturday, my husband and I got up early and we were out the door and off to West Virginia to see family. I am so excited about getting a puppy in May. This will be my first pet that is my very own and as my mom keeps reminding me "my responsibility". For those of you who know me I had a little health blip starting a year ago. It was right before Christmas last year that my Dr. started to think there was something wrong with me after a routine blood test. I wont go into all the details however they found that I had leukemia. Went through Chemo and doing very well in remission as of June 8th. Dec. 7th  was my 6 month check up at Sloan Kettering.
