My little Duncan is 3 today! He may have been a purchase from a breeder but i still consider him a rescue story. HE RESCUED ME!!!! He's brought me all the love and affection that I was seeking...and then some! AND he's my entertainment. He makes me laugh constantly each and every day with his silly antics and doodle-isms.

Gio is now called DJ (short for Don Giovanni??) by the Italians he is living with and he is really representing Labradoodles in a big way. Most of the people he is meeting have never seen  labradoodle, so the fact that he is so darn cute and smart is doing great things for the breed's reputation. I have some pics to share with everyone. My DH just went to the front door to bring in the morning paper and was greeted by our favorite Muscovy Duck.  She was standing right on our front porch, thought for a minute she would try to fly inside the house to get her daily snack of bread.   She has been coming to our yard for a while now, and is beginning to feel like a member of the family.  Just standing there, waiting and watching, its like we have a "guard duck"!

Today is Murph's second birthday.  At least we think it's today....we originally thought it was 12/17, but then in going through some of his paperwork it showed 12/21 as his BDay.  Murph was a DRC rescue, as most of you know....he came to us as a 10 week old puppy.  He was clearly one of the cutest Doodle puppies I had ever seen, and when I found out his name was Murphy, I knew he belonged here.  Remember this picture of "Little Murphy"?…

So my girl moved to a foreign county called Boston.  Way too far away.  She and BF have been trying to establish roots there much to my consternation....... :(  I've always pushed her away and said fly, but when she did I have hated ever saying such s***. They have struggled in a major way, no jobs, no money.  Well here we are nearly 2 years later and both of them have jobs in their degree fields.  Wow.  They are making nearly as much as DH and I are now???  How does that…

With the holidays hovering over us like a UFO, the five letter “buzz” word around a house right now (not mine!) could be “p.u.p.p.y.” I am not the one to tell you “when to get one”, or suggest that the holiday season “isn’t the right time”, those major decisions are totally up to you, your family, and your lifestyle. Hi all,

Jeriki came home yesterday, him and Marabelle love eachother all ready.

He is a little shy, and a little nervous. We brought him home around 3:00pm and he didn't go pee till about 10:00pm. He is sooo beautiful, we are happy to have him. The cats are not to impressed they look at me with loathing in there eyes lol. I will post more when I have more to share of course.

Just a quick blog to say I finally got home last night and OMD what a reunion! As soon as the taxi dropped me off I bolted up the stairs and down the hall to my apartment where both of the dogs were with one of the sitters (and her doodle was there too). Well I burst through the door yelling "DOOOOOOOOODDDDDLLLLEEEESSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!". There was a brief moment of surprise and then all heck broke loose.

Murphy is three years old tomorrow. He is our first dog and like a first child, we learned a lot from him and he made us into the dog lovers we are today. Here are some of the highlights of his life with us thus far:

Was a little nervous about starting intermediate class with Bailey this AM even though we are using the same trainer as basic.

I do have to say it is the most diverse group of dogs.  Picture in your head.  First: Rickie the chichuaua, very well behaved, no leash required and he is "titled" in training.  Then there is the cutest mix breed dog.  This guy is always looking like he is smiling..Next up a Great Dane, what a gentle giant he is.  Then there is the sweetest german…

The other night,  I went Christmas shopping. All I needed was a couple of gift cards and most of my shopping would be done. The last store on my list was BJ’s for a phone card for my mom.
