Miley is really starting to make progress.  We have been using a 25 ft lead outside.  Miley will now stop for you to pick it up, instead of running the other direction.  Once you have the lead in hand she will start walking toward you.  Miley will walk along with you loose leashed, instead of pulling away from you.  If Miley thinks we're going inside she will pull going toward the house.  If you are sitting on the steps outside or in the grass she will come up to you on her own, sniff, touch…

Well DH is gone for the weekend. I am sitting on my bed with Amante next to me. I promised my DH I would not allow any dog to sleep in our bed. Mind you I had to promise that about our kids too. Well I am comfy cozy and am tempted to let Amante stay! SHHHHHH! our secret ok!  Do I or not!!!

I figured I would give an update on Jack...We have been to the vet, the specialist and the ER more times then I can actually count. So far, we still do not have a definitive diagnoses. Today we went back for more extensive testing, Blood work being sent away to Texas somewhere.

My DH and I have had Leah, our 18 month-old labradoodle foster, in our home for nearly 3 weeks, and all i can say is this -- SHE HAS COME OUT OF HER SHELLl!  For the first ten days that we had her, Leah really didn't want to play -- and that drove Knox NUTS, because PLAY is his middle name!  He would try his hardest to get her attention and she would FLAT OUT ignore him!  I just figured that some dogs like to play and some don't and that Leah was the latter.  She was perfectly content to lay…

Well I was walking Amante at the outside mall  today. As usual a women stops me and is loving my doodle and talking with me about how cute he is how soft he is etc. A man comes walking by with his THREE Pit bulls that are decorated in  chains and those collars that look like they have prongs on them, well one off the pitbulls goes crazy and scares everyone in the area especially Amante that is now on my head with his paws attatched like suction cups to my neck. It's been about a month since I have posted about my dear Bella, and it's time to finally add more thoughts on her progress so she doesn't get a reputation as  BAD DOG BELLA.

So here are the things I am grateful for today:

1. The carpet is totally intact.

2. I have trash in my bathroom trash cans and it stays there.

3. All socks in our drawers have partners, matching ones at that..

4. I can drop something and not have to do summersaults to get to it before…

Today the boys went to Daycare for the first time in weeks.  I haven't been sending them because they've been getting plenty of exercise this Summer, but today DH and I had plans  so we decided it would be a good day for them to go.  We stayed for a while after dropping them off and watched on camera.  It was really pretty interesting.  They got there mid morning, so most of the other dogs were already there.  They all seem to know when there's a new dog coming in....I suppose they hear the…
