I came across this picture today and thought that everyone on here would enjoy it. This is Tiger Woods with his family and their two Labradoodles! They look so happy! :-) **I think someone on here has posted this before, but I still think it is so precious!

Have had this week off (Thanksgiving) from work. Promised a lot of my accounts that if I gave Riley a bath, I would bring him by on my day off. I use this as incentive to actually do what I plan to do; instead of procrastinating and not doing anything. Well, bath day yesterday, and we went a calling today. I used this opportunity as a training time also, not having Riley jumping up on people. It went well, at first a lot of correction. After awhile, meeting so many different people he kinda…

I was at training with Fozzy last night. There is a couple that has pissed me off since day one. They have this adorable border collie that is an absolute head case. She goes after other dogs, nips at the owners barks like crazy. From the first class it was clear that the owners are abusive with this dog. I have seen both owners swat this dog, scream at this dog and just treat this dog badly. The trainer is visibly struggling with this couple, biting her tongue and show them the proper way to…

Yesterday, I bought Angel one toy: an over-sized squeaky tennis ball. It cost me less than two dollars, but you would thing I had just given Angel the best thing on the face of the planet. No joke, she played with that ball for FOUR hours straight, either by herself or with the occasional toss from me. And I am convinced the only reason she stopped is because she wore herself out.
She found her new best friend in that ball, and I think it even holds the importance to her as a blankie…

I got a good laugh tonight when i got home. Today was one of the days i had to work in the city all day and Duncan was home with a 12:30 walk and a 4:30 walk from his wonderful dog walker. She always leaves me nice detailed notes about their walk and what "came out" and how he loved to chase the blowing leaves etc. etc.
Well tonight i have no idea how his walks were. The note was shredded into pieces on the floor. I just think it's so funny that he knows not to shred it after his…

You've all probably heard the little ditty, "How Much Wood Could a WoodChuck Chuck if a WoodChuck could chuck wood?" Well, looking at those cute precious little TN Babies shown below in foster care with the DRC I'm just sitting here thinking "How Many Doodles Could a Doodle Mom Have If A Doodle Mom Could Have More Doodles?" They are so adorable ...... I want the Black one and the Chocolate one .......... I've got to stop looking at Doodles for Adoption!

On Sunday we traveled to Youngstown to attended PET EXPO 2009 and visit our many Doodle friends in that part of Ohio. Prior to attending Spud was invited to participate in a fashion show--which I quietly declined. A few moments before, Beth informed me our sweet Youngstown Doodle Friends placed him in the line-up anyway :) After all he was wearing his favorite scarf he should at least show it off.
He did his little stint and we returned the audience to find a seat. While my back was…

I am just thinking about how much Duncan has grown. Not necessarily in size as he is a mini but in his training and behavior. I remember not even being able to get him to sit still enough for me to leash him up to go potty. Now he sits without me even having to ask.
I am looking forward to many years of joy with this doodle but the last 8 months since I brought him home have truly been amazing. A bond I never knew was possible.
I can't wait to send out the holiday card I designed this…

Thanks you guys, who responded to my last blog!!! I feel soooooooooooo much better knowing I'm not the only one who has a doodle that is sometimes CRAZY!! And drives ME crazy! It has been better these past days. My husband really helped too! I also, the past two days, have let Samson out on my enclosed deck with some toys for an hour out of the house, where I check on him every few minutes and I can do some housework or vacuum or something without him right next to me!!
I don't have…

I really hope I'm not "overblogging", but Guinness has been going through a really funny stage, and I feel compelled to share with fellow Doodle Nuts. Twice in the past two days Houdini has escaped from his crate while we were out. It's a soft sided crate with a zipper in the front. Both times he was tightly zipped in. Somehow he figured out how to unzip from the inside. It's freakng us out because we can't understand how he does it. The zipper "handles" are on the outside. It's crazy. So,…

We took Annie hiking up at Red Top Mountain in Georgia. She loved it we described it as Disney world for dogs. LOL!!!!! There was lots of fallen logs that Annie loved jumping, there is a lake with beaches, and lots of leaves for Annie to play in. There was a " Leaf Storm" . Annie tried to catch all the leaves. We saw lots of dogs , and Annie loved seeing them. We took her down to the beach to see if she liked water and......... SHE LOVED IT AND
WOULDN'T GET OUT. We finally got her out and…

Holly began licking her front feet frequently. We shampooed her feet with our regular dog shampoo and the next day, we tried shampooing her front paws with T-Gel Shampoo which helps my scalp when it itches. That didn't help at all. When I arrived home from the health club about 2:00 PM yesterday (Saturday) she was frantically licking her feet. I gave her half of a generic Benadryl tablet and called the vet for an appointment. The vet is open until 4:00 PM on Saturday and we have a good enough…

My husband and I had a day trip we had to take and weren't sure what to do with Darwin. I decided to enroll him in doggy daycare. We looked around at the local kennels and decided on Petsmart due to it's cleanliness and fun atmosphere. I knew Darwin would have fun playing with other pups all day, so it was a huge relief to know he was taken care of all day. When we got back he was pooped, and happy. They even gave us a little report card to show us how well Darwin did. I'm so proud. :-)…

Has anyone else gotten this??? I am in a funk right now and can't get out! I've fallen and I can't get up! I don't know if anyone else feels this way sometimes, but I get sad over the independence I've lost. I sometimes think I was too fast in getting another puppy so soon after Odie died.
Maybe I should have waited a year or two.
I'm tired and I know puppy hood comes only once and this will pass.

I was so very proud of Wilson He walked so nicely in the parade today with the other dogs from Packerland Kennel Co.
So many people new he was a golden doodle So many little kids petted him as we walked in fact, we sort of lost the float because so many kids wanted to pet Wilson.
He is a very tired doodle now sleeping on the deck I am so grateful that it was a beautiful day in WI
I just wanted to share

We have had 2 great days in a row with our little crazy. We have been training training training. Today, though, I bought a clicker. Ok, let me just say...FUN. Not only is it tre fun to click, but it produced awesome results with ADD boy! I think he actually loves it as much as I do.
When my husband came home tonight, I felt like "Crazy Dog Lady" as I like to call it...treats in pocket, clicker in hand, leash tied to my belt, and feeling over-all a bit gross from doing so much dog…

This morning, I woke up & kissed my dad's head.
I peed on the carpet, then went back to bed.
"The life of a puppy, oh my, this is great."
Then I thought about breakfast," I hope it's not late."
Mom took me outside, we walked for a while.
This never fails to make Mama smile.
I sniffed of everything, that we did pass,
I ate something weird - it gave me gas.
I'm sure God loves me, I know that is true.
He gave me so many great things to…

I forgot about this picture when looking for something for this week's slide show, but came across it this morning! Sophie is absolutely crazy about birds! She doesn't want to hurt them, she just stares at them (well unless they are in her back yard). When we walk in Petsmart she pulls me straight over to the bird cages and she just stands and stares! That is where this picture was taken! People just laugh at her because she is so focused on the birds that you could lay a steak beside her and…
