Looking for a message

Went to Wildwood for the weekend, my brother called us laughing! Apparently when we called and left a message for him, his Dood Flynn was near the answering machine. He was looking at it, probably recognizing our voices. Sean said he went to the machine and hit the button with his nose and jumped when we started talking again! Would you believe he hit that button a couple of times and just kept staring at the machine? I wish I could have been there to see it!! What a smart boy Flynn is!!

A Day with Java Joe Doodles

Today I had a swimming race with Java Joe Doodles, and guess who won! He did. Joe loves the water, and he swims daily. Today when I jumped in he bounded down the steps after me and swam fast to me across the other side of the pool. When he got to where I was in the pool I shouted, "Let's race!" and proceeded to race him across the pool swimming fast and furiously. He would glance sideways at me as I tried to get the lead. and on the pic of the pool YES he does blow bubbles he thinks it is the coolest thing in the world we can hardly get him out of his pool we have to empty it out when we are done other wise he goes right in to it even when its time for bed we have so much fun with him he is such a joy :o)

Hudson's first vacation

My family and I just got back from Mackinaw Island and we have 3 doodles but only 1 could go with us!! There was no room for any more with the kids and all our stuff. We choose to take the younger doodle with us, he has had all his shots so this was good for him to get out, and to see new things. Parasite

Hi there, Well Neely has had a bad couple of weeks. He started about that long ago, one night we awoke to poop or loose stool near our doorway.

The night before he had been out just before bed and I went off to bed and he went back to the door and rang the bells. I didn't beleive him as he was just out. I thought that due to the heat he just hadn't had enough excercise and wasn't quite ready for bed. Apparently he wasn't fooling.

Ever wonder what your limits are?

I've always kind of wondered what my limit of dogs would be. I'm still not sure of the exact number, but I know I'm over at the moment. In my house right now there are;

My usual 6 dogs that live here. My poodle stud, a golden retriever, a labradoodle, two goldendoodles and our chihuahua.

Sweet Hair

We gave Bear a bath tonight and boy he loves the water. My husband actually gave him a bath. He must really love this dog because he does not even bathe our children! lol We put conditioner in his sweet soft curls and he came out as soft as a stuffed animal. It makes us so sad he will loose all his baby hair. It is so perfect right now!!! I guess we need enjoy it while we can. He gets more cuddly everyday. (and michievious!)

Gidget had her 12 week appt today! Everything went beautifully! She's now 11 1/2 lbs! Woo!

8 weeks: 6 lbs. 14 oz.
9 weeks: 7 lbs. 13 oz.

Trying Yet Another Grromer!

Well, this is my 4th groomer. I hope I have finally found the one. She works out of her home and lives within a 10 minute drive. I dropped Yankee off at 9am and he did have some mats. I had most of them out Wed night but yesterday he went swimming in the pool. Not good.

Lady Peri's First Day at Doggy Daycare!

So, DH and I decided to try out doggy daycare today. Peri has started crying when I leave room (even if DH is with her), so I was a little worried about her first day at camp. No worries - she ran around and wanted straight in the playroom. I called her name and she didn't want to even look at me! 17 weeks old, and 9 weeks in!

I've posted this week's blog a little later than usual because I enrolled Penny in puppy training classes at Pet Smart, 4.30pm Wednesday, and was hoping to report on that this week, but it kinda didn't work out. Front Page Chocolates

I have never seen such beautiful doodles, that is other than the ones I already have, ha! Hunter is tan and Ziggy is a black doodle . . . now I would love to have a chocolate doodle. Doodles are the best dogs in the world. Does anyone know where I can get a chocolate? I love large dogs - mine both weigh 64 pounds. I live in Indiana.

Mickey is starting to guard us...how do I stop it now??

On our last walk of the night, yesterday, Mickey, the flashlight, and I where on our street. A couple around my age were walking by us. They stopped to say Hello, and say how beautiful Mickey was. Samantha Did It!!

Last week Samantha passed her CGC and tonight she passed her Bright & Beautiful test!!
Always knew she was a smart Doodle but dual degrees! Now she wants to study for her
Masters! She isn't sure exactly what she wants to study yet but the world is at her paws!

Congrats to Dana & Mac - they passed both also!!
Also, our new friend (but not a Doodle), Nancy & Barnaby passed both tests also!
