She left me with my buddy Grendel, a pit bull/mastiff kind of guy, and his humans. I missed her a lot for a while after she left, but hey--I'm a year old now and Gren would think I was a wimp if I just kept whining and moping, even though I'd never been away from her overnight since I chose her to be my human when I was eight weeks old. Anyhow, Mom called Gren's humans every day to see how I was doing, and sounded a little surprised when she heard I was just fine. Sheesh! I think SHE was one…

Today I called Petsmart grooming salon to make an appointment for Charlie for her hair cut. Charlie has been going there ever since her first hair cut, and her groomer has been wonderful with her. She always call to let me know if she have to be cut shorter, or gives her a break if it gets too much for her... She always cut Charlie's hair the way I ask her to, and knew how I like it. Charlie is a reactive girl, but LOVES her groomer, and she loved Charlie. Even when we were just shopping…

Ollie loves socks and shoes! Are there any doodles that don't? :-)
We have been having good times and trying times. This is one of those times that he is clowning about and entertaining us. He has also learned to roll over (as long as there is a treat involved!)
I'm still not reading him perfectly and still find his moods kind of unpredictable but I am learning a…

Hey doods! This is Peri, mini goldendoodle, from Nashville!
I wanted to blog about my Sunday afternoon with the family. What a day! The best in a long time! Mom and dad took me and Taquito to Nana and Grandad's like they always do on Sundays. Wow that was fun.
Pretty soon after we got there, I played in the backyard as usual. Then the humans got all three of us (me, T and my aunt Lucy the terrier) and took us to the FRONT YARD! We don't go there much because it…

Well we are at the conclusion of day two. Things have gone much better than I had anticipated. A few things have cropped up that were interesting.
The Walk – walk one started out a bit rough. Mylie is a puller! I needed to keep her on the gentle leader halter to handle her. I tried…

Rua here! It has been quite a fun week. I brought my parents with me to Puppy Pre-School (my teacher told me it was about how to train them and not me so I am all on board with that) on Tuesday. I was the smallest, and if I may be so bold, the cutest. My Momma and Papa had gone the week before without me and got some training. I was able to complete all of my assignments PLUS I knew "down"! EVERYONE thought I was the cutest puppy there. I get to go back again Tuesday. Momma works everyday…

We are doodle-sitting this week. Mylie arrived about three hours ago. So far, so good. DH took Gavin to see Mylie on Wednesday just to re-aquaint them and get rid of some of the craziness. It worked really well. They got along famously. So good that when DH went to leave he was side tracked talking to my friend’s son and when he got back in the car, he found that Mylie had gone through the…

As you may have read in Nina's blog "Gus Has Been Sprung", Gus is 3(ish) labradoodle boy. Nina and her DD drove to Piedmont, AL to pick him up on Tuesday, and Nina got him vetted, let him have a slumber party with her pack and then got him groomed. Our normal foster drill has Callie at a neighbor's house while I bathe the new foster and try to get him settled in and then trying to keep…

Hi! We got our second doodle off of Craigslist and were wondering if any of his siblings were DK members. Here are the particulars: Born 10/27/08; 5 puppies in litter; owner had golden retriever and his girlfriend had a black standard poodle and OOPS; owner lives in Bremerton/Gig Harbor area of Washington state. I believe Jaxon is the only black puppy of the litter, the rest were apricot. If you think you might own one of his siblings, drop me a line!!!
