Ok, I am so mad. Here's what's going on....
1) I have been growing Charlie's legs' fur for quite sometime now. Some of you may know, but she has shaved face, short cut body and long fur on the legs. I just think it is cute on her. But because of matting, getting wet in the water, etc... I have not been able to grow her legs' fur as long as I wanted them to be, until recently. I have been combing, ( I found the comb that works really wel and Charlie does not mind this comb ) faithfully…

Another week with my pup and I feel like I don't remember life before Cooper! I love this little guy so much it's ridiculous.
He continues to do well and is growing like a weed. He's up to 18 lbs (at 11 weeks) and seems to be clumbsier the bigger he gets! We had a week free of accidents (yah!) but his first little puke. It was this morning in his crate and it was clear liquid. It hasn't happened since and his stools are normal so I'm not too fussed. …

We have a child's wading pool that Monty (used) to love. We were able to say to him, "go swimming Monty" and he would run off the deck and jump in his little pool. It is almost always filled with water and he would jump in and out of it on a regular basis. Ever since we went to the ocean, he won't even get in it!
The only thing I can come up with is that we went to the real ocean in July. Of course we said we were swimming in the ocean and Monty loved it. So much so that one day…

Well I am disgusted that in my local paper there is a 5 month old Labradoodle for adoption through our local OSPCA. The cute little white fluff ball was surrendered by its owner. The poor little guy had his tail docked because he wagged it so much and was getting bigger and knocking things over with it. If I had the vet by the tail that did this I would put a little nick in his behind and see how it feels!
On a similiar note when in the city my son lives in last week while driving we…

Hello everyone! Boy did I miss you guys while on vacation for the past 10 days! I don't think (even in my busiest times) that I have ever been off DK as much as I have during these past 10 days! I have missed many posts and TWO YAPPY HOURS!!! I have to admit, I did peak and got to comment a bit during the early mornings while waiting for 'the boys' to wake up and late at night....it actually worked in my favor that there was a six hour time difference (well 3 hours for you…

Maddie loves to sit at the end of our patio (esp in the evenings) to watch over her domain in hopes some kind of animal dares to enter. Her patience paid off AGAIN. She came to the back door with another opossum in her mouth. Standing there so proud of herself she looks so cute..... but YUCK. I told her to drop it and come in the house, which she did. It was hard to tell right away if was dead or alive. This time I ran upstairs for a flashlight and camera. I put her in a room and…

Just when I thought we were getting a handle on the chewing and poop eating, I come home to living room carpet strewn all over the room and about 2 inches wide by 18 inches long chewed carpet. Luckily it was right where the tile and carpet meet, so we were able to call a carpet man in to stretch the carpet and cover the tacking that was sticking up very dangerously for little baby feet to find.
That was Monday, call the carpet guy tues and he is coming Wed. Great. Go to the grocery…

Yesterday was Ollie's first birthday. Can't believe we've had him for 10 months. He has been such a joy to be around. He has brought us many, many smiles and giggles in the time we've had him. I am so proud of my boy. He is calm and well behaved with just the right amount of puppy enthusiasm and mischief. If I had designed a dog, it couldn't have been better than what we got.
We are lucky to have you my furry baby...may you live a long and healthy life and keep bringing us those…

To give a little background to my life for the pat three weeks let me indulge here;
For the past three weeks I have got up at 6.30am and after playing, feeding and walking Riley I have donned my best clothes, put on my full makeup and added my high heels to give the impression that I am a smart city woman with a passion for fashion. I have then driven to my showroom where I have entertained all the buyers who have come to the showroom where I have taken orders for the latest fashions…

Peli is a darling little Maltese who was found as a stray wandering in Apple Valley, California. We rescued him from the Apple Valley Shelter and found that he was blind since birth. Imagine how scary it would be as a six pound dog wandering the streets as a stray. Peli gets along quite well with the other Maltese in our home but was, at first, terribly frightnened of Holly.
Usually Holly can win over the most frightened dog in a short time. We have had Peli as a foster…

Yesterday, we had an Earthquake. I was not watching TV prior to feeling the quake. If I had been and someone could have predicted the quake ahead of time and interrupted what I was watching to tell me, I doubt that I would have heard what they said. I have become immune to these Breaking News or Weather Reports and almost immediately change the channel.…

I hope this comes out with the intention of what I mean it... I have been through enough in my life that I can appreciate a normal bad day.. you know one where no one needs to go on life support to breathe, no one died, no one lost a limb but the day is still pretty unbelievable??? Well that was today!!!! I love when normal things happen to me.. I like when good thing normal things happen....
Did you ever see the movie Planes, Trains and Automobiles... that is what my day…

Roon E. Doodle reporting in here from Fort Myers, FL or Hurricane central according to my crazy cautious momma. You see there is a hurricane heading this way - or maybe that a way - or any ol way but it is a hurricane. This will be our very 1st hurricane so momma is kinda getting weird. The…

For Mother's Day 2010, Doodle Kisses ran a contest. Many of us decorated our pages, and the prize for the winner was a sculpture of your Doodle (or Doodles). I was the lucky winner of that contest, and needless to say I was very excited! This prize was generously donated by Kathy of Auggydoodles who does custom designed Doodle sculptures. Sadly, Kathy ran into some personal issues and was unable to make her sculptures for many months, but she never forgot about me. She's now back "in…

UPDATE TO THE UPDATE FOR SUNNY:
Sunny is perfectly crate trained for more than just night time. He hates and attacks vacuums so I crated him while I cleaned and he just napped until I was done. Yay!
He is doing very well with housebreaking. We have expanded his space in our house - den/kitchen,…

I took Riley this morning for her first visit to see the doctor! As soon as we walked in, she started crying as if knowing it was the doctors office!!
At seven weeks Riley weighs just about 3 pounds. TIIIINNNNY. However, the doc said that her heart and all is healthy.
I brought in a stool sample and they said as soon as they put it under the scope there was a bad case of parasites : (
This explains why she has pooped IN her crate a few times, poor girl…

I think my title is self-explanatory, but I am going to tell you my definition of what a person acts likes who suffers from this disorder just to make sure we have no confusion. The symptoms of Feigned or Practiced Incompetence seem to be brought on when the person afflicted with this disorder is asked to do simple tasks by a loved one. They appear confused, befuddled, and unable to complete the task at hand even though they have been fully trained by the requestor. They can be wily…
