Slightly off topic, but recent posts have made me want to share the following.

The month of May was an interesting month for me. Let's just say I have not been a happy camper due to:

1. flooding and destruction of many of my friends' home in Nashville area

2. sister (my very best friend) moved to Dallas

3. I have been planning 5 million baby showers for all of my friends (told DH I wanted another doodle and no kids - lol)

4. DH losing his contract…

I picked up yet another stray dog yesterday on my morning hike with the doods - I think this will be the 6th or 7th loose dog I have had to bring home in the past couple of years. This one was wearing a collar, but - of course - no tag. Took him to the local vet who scanned for chip - nothing. Brought him back home, gave him water and food. Started the usual process of creating flyers, posting ads on Craigslist, emailing everyone I know locally, calling the shelters etc etc. Well, the owner…

I took Lilly to get groomed today and came back with only half of my dog!!!! I asked the groomer for a summer cut, you would think she would of left some hair on her face and head (she looks like a flat head) she keeps cards on how she cuts her each time I go...I want my doodle back!!! I know, I know, she will grow back but I just needed to vent a little.. On the other hand, Lilly loves it she was sooo hot before.

We started letting Koda has free roam of the house while we are out about a month ago. First day of his freedom, he ate a huge chunk of my sofa, leather, sponge and foam.

Today, we left them home for about a couple of hours, came home to a bigger hole in the sofa. We had coverd it (2 covers) since the last incident. Granted the covers were not tight and snug, somehow he found his way under the covers and ate more of the sofa, a LOT MORE!
