The day I brought Cheddar home I began to feel sick, he was here for only four days before I became too sick to take care of him.  Luckily we have some great friends who took him in until I was feeling better. HELP, we are having a terrible time.  About three weeks ago our doodle came home from a walk with a cut tail.  Not sure how it happens, she plays every day with a lab (same age) and two more doodles.  They do get quite boisterous, but when she came into the house there was blood everywhere.  My husband took her to the vet and she had a four inch cut on her tail which required suturing and a dressing and cone applied.  I couldn't bare putting the plastic cone on her so I used an inflatable…

We were asked to help 30 dogs.…

Yep, you read that right. We named our 7.5 week old goldendoodle puppy Cheddar. And the name really suits him. I drove with my brother and his wife for 5 hours from the breeder's home to our home. Cheddar threw up 3 times and peed once on my lap. But we survived :)

He perked up when we got home and loves the kids. It helps that he was raised in a home with lots of kids. Overall it has been a great start, I have been a bit stressed but Cheddar is transitioning well and loves playing…

I love my doodle.  She is the best thing to happen to our family.  I wouldn't trade her for the world... but she sure likes to keep us on our toes.  Kind of like my kids, she fits right in.
