I have just joined this group.  I have 3 dogs - A 14 yr old rescue poodle (14 lbs) A shitz Tzu- poodle x (only non rescue pet ) who is 3 and our newest is Mocha - a rescue and we figure she is about 1 yr old - she is about 34 lbs - I have had her since mid June -- she had deciduous teeth at that time.  She was only 22 lbs and very shy - now she is into everything, onto everything and we have learned she is also a thief.  Thankfully she gets along with all other animals including our rescue kitties. Loves all other dogs at the dog park. I have mastered walking all 3 dogs now-- it was a learning experience.  I am so thrilled to have found this site.  Our only issue, really is Rascal - the poodle hates Mocha -- he only has to catch scent of her in the same room and he is off on a tangent.  Thought it would pass by now but it hasn't.  Funny - they are fine in a vehicle together and walking- go figure.

Getting a second doodle.  Bailey who is a 14 month old male is getting a baby brother from another mother but the same father.  Don't think there will be a problem since he is totally social and loves other dogs.

We recently went from 2 doodles to 3 doodles - the new pup is 12 weeks old.  So far, so good and once we get past the puppy teeth stage I'm hoping that Tessa will make a great buddy for all of us.  My sister & family are staying with us temporarily so we have 4 goldendoodles in the house.  Let's just say that I'm happy that none of them shed more than the occasional doodle tumbleweed!

At one point, we had four dogs, but now we have three.  We have made the difficult decision to limit our future dog quota to two.  I can potty walk all three, but it is not fun.  And I don't ever enjoy pleasure walking all three by myself, but two is easy.  If my husband always walked dogs too, I would love to have four again.

We have three and have been wondering if this is one too many.  ;)  Someone told me there shouldn't be more pets and adults in a family.  We added the puppy, #3, in November and it has been a bit crazy.  I just joined the group and will be looking for advice and maybe a bit of commiseration from all of you!

So much love in that photo of seven dogs sitting! They must all have manners and be very well behaved or it is chaos! Congrats. job well done!

With multiples training is a huge must!! I 'own' everything they have - food, water, stairs, collars, leashes and toys. If they want it, they have to work for it. Sit, wait, tricks, whatever. All dogs that come to visit learn real quick!!

What well behaved doods you have and living there and visiting!
