Hi everyone.
i have a very old akita/germ shepard mix, 2 year old sheltiedoodle and a 6 month old labradoodle. What was i thinking with getting more dogs? My house is a zoo but its a fun zoo.

We have three wonderful Australian Labradoodles--Tassi, medium apricot cream 4+ years from Tegan Park Australia, Keela, mini red 3+ years from California Labradoodles, & Java medium chocolate 1+ year from aAprina Labradoodles in Oregon. Oh yeah, and one older orange tabby cat, Ringo, to keep the Doodles on their toes;-) Adding the third was only difficult for the first few months, after which we all adapted--even reluctant-to-have-a-third DH--and they are all well-loved and cared for. Doodles help make it a great life!

We have a ten month old goldendoodle, Holly and four Maltese. They get along great. The reason we got a doodle is that we wanted a bigger dog that we could trust with our little ones. Holly has been wonderful and has never shown a bit of aggression or possessiveness. She is just a wonderful addition to our family and we love her more and more each day we have her. We got Holly in early February from Cheyenne Valley Kennel north of Dallas Texas.

We have two goldendoodles ages 2 1/2 years and 18 months. Would never have just one dog. These girls are best friends and do most of our work for us. We have had 3 dogs before and that was really hard as we found that it was always 2 against 1. If we were to add more it would be adding two more. Our baby at 35 pounds is totally the alpha dog and rules our 70 pounder. They really take care of each other.

Tricia, It is worth it. The older one really teaches the younger the ropes. And they have a buddy, which makes them feel more packlike. They do everything together, you won't be sorry. Check out the discussion above "Bringing in a second..."
