Hi All, I have Duffy who is a 9 month male mini golden doodle. I am really happy that the baby stage is behind me. I was asked if I would like a 3 month old male. I am scared to death to do this over. Are you glad you did? Is it so worth it?

Hi, I have a Goldendoodle right now, but I am looking for a 2nd dog a labradoodle. My GD is 6 mos and I don't know if I can handle a little one at 8 wks. Do you think I should wait until my guy is a year old before I add another one. Also, my guy is a male, should I get another male or a female? Thanks, Sally

We have two wonderfully happy dogs that love us and each other to the extreme :) Buddy is our male 3 year old Cockapoo and Kona is our female 1 year old Medium Labradoodle. I was a little worried how Buddy was going to react to our little addition, but he accepted her immediately, she really gave him no choice LOL She stood up to him right away at just 8 weeks old, and has never backed down. They love to play with each other, and he only plays with her at the dog park. Kona is the brat, we lovingly call her our little B*tch, if Buddy get's up to get a drink and leaves a chewy behind, she will instantly nab it and lay on it as she continues to chew her own chew! She also makes him play when SHE wants to by nibbling on his toes and ears, secretly, I think he likes when she nibbles his head because he always enjoys good head scratches. I would never go back to having a single dog after experiencing the total joy that two bring.

We are a three dog family. Simon is a 10 year old Lab/Australian Shepherd mix, Gordie is a 5 year old (today) English Springer Spaniel, and Ned is a 7 month old mini/medium Australian Labradoodle. Simon accepted Ned immediately, let him know who was boss and behaves like an indulgent oldest brother. Gordie doesn't know how to show dominance. So Ned steals his toys and food (when he doesn't get caught by humans), and pushes him out of petting range. Gordie will play some with Ned but just doesn't get how to stand his ground. This is really odd because Ned's behavior is exactly how Gordie behaved toward Simon when he was a puppy.

Hi there! We have four females onsite, two males in guardian homes, and four 7-week old puppies. Boring is not a word we use very often. I also have four kids living here, plus a chinchilla, python, and a couple fish. One issue that I find with our pack is disciplining a single dog. Especially if we have a pregnant female who has an accident - how do you explain when she looks so guilty that she couldn't help it, and the others that then follow suit, are doing a no no?

Great idea for a group
I have four doodles and life gets crazy at times but they are an awesome pack if I must say so. Some of the challenges are getting in the room when they are excited to see you. With 250 lbs of dogs trying to love you at once it becomes comical. Also when someones does something wrong it is hard to know who did it. For us it is usually the baby devil dog Rose or so I think. Trying to train Rose has been fun because everybody thinks there name is Rose when you have a treat or are giving a little extra attention.

Great idea, Lynne. With 12 dogs living in our home, I think we qualify as a multiple dog family. Can't imagine living without any one of them. I tried a few weeks ago and failed deliciously!
